Bundeena Dog Collars
Creativity comes in many shades and colors, and I recently met someone in Bundeena whose creative talents are directed toward our four legged friends

About a year ago, while Jade was out walking her pal Pips on Bundeena's Jibbon beach, she was taken by the color of the sand and the glint of shells and thought how lovely they would look on a collar for Pipi. Her friend Amanda was with her, and as they started talking about it, it just seemed to be such a good idea and something that could be quite fun. Dog collars are generally boring, and though they didn't want to make something that would be too precious, (no diamantes on these collars) they saw lots of room for making something that would look good but still be sturdy enough for even the biggest dog.

Bundeena Dog Collars

From this initial idea, Jade has now put together a line of dog collars and leads that are both lovely and practical. They conducted quite a bit of testing, (not just on Pips who is a small dog and not as rough as some) and for several months at a time to make sure that they were durable and still looked good. They now have a line of about 20 different styles. Some of the collars have beadwork and shells sewn into them, others have cross-stitching in contrasting colors or patterns cut out of them. All of these are handmade with quality fasteners, and sure to impress. Soon they will have a line of collars for cats, and have even been requested to make belts for us two legged folk.
