I had my hen's party here (making teapots!) and it was great! I know it's a bit far for Sydneysiders, but it's definitely worth the trip - there's food around the area and a lovely beach close by to either relax or have a picnic at! All my friends who came said they loved it. The people here were very caring and friendly as they were more than willing to make adjustments for us and cater to our needs. They also make the classes quite entertaining and funny! I've just picked up our teapots yesterday and they look amazing <3. Thank you Something at Mary's for making a special day so much more memorable!

My mum and I had a fabulous afternoon with Marion. We made a weekend of it. Staying at cronulla beach for the night, catching the ferry from cronulla to bundeena and also having a wander around the beautiful town. Marion had a wonderful ability of being able to break down the tricky steps that are involved into very simple easy and achieveable tasks, with a sense of calm and fun too. We left very happy and shocked at how great our pottery pieces actually turned out in the end. She made us instant pros! Well kind of 🙂 we will be back Thankyou! Highly recommend.

My boyfriend had booked us a class with Marion for my birthday and it was perhaps the best gift ever. Marion was an excellent teacher with great banter and made the whole experience a lot of fun. I highly recommend booking this in and getting your hands dirty. Thanks again Marion! I can't wait to see how our ceramics came out.

Marion's class was a wonderful experience and very accessible for a beginner. She is funny and personable and her insights and depth of knowledge in potting and making diverse structures would also make the class appropriate for more advanced students. I was able to make 3 wonderful pieces to take home and was suprised about how good they looked! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone thinking of taking an art class, trying out a new skill or as a unique gift.

Went to Something at Mary's back in September with a friend and had a fantastic time. Marion organised a private lesson and was extremely accommodating in allowing the two of us to make different things on the day. My friend made a vase and cups on the turning wheel and I made a teapot and all the ancilliary parts on the wheel. In addition to demonstrating, Marion assisted us in turning our creations and was extremely patient in ensuring we both completed something we would later be able to show off at home (especially considering I collapsed at least 2 attempts). A bit of a hike to Bundeena but a really fun day and well worth the drive through the national forest from Sydney. Thanks Marion!!

Went to Something at Mary's with a few family members and it was great. Marion is lovely, has a sense of humour and is a great pottery teacher. We didn't realise we had gone well over our time as it was very comfortable sitting and chatting whilst making pottery. Can't wait for the next visit 🙂
